Hello everyone,

Having moved to Langworth from Nettleham in the summer of 2023 Carole and I are now into our 3rd year at the Old Vicarage and really enjoying it.

 

Chairing the village hall commitee since early this year came out of the blue for me. That's what happens if you turn up at a hall event as a new face I guess.

But really the opportunity to get to know folks has been turbo charged by taking on the role. Langworth does have some characters you know - if the committee is anything to go by!
So what's the lesson for me from this role?

 

Well, to quote my dear Mother, bless her, 'The more you give the more you get'.

I would encourage all of you to get the absolute best out of our Memorial Hall as a facility offering a welcoming space for friends and family to gather. Join in the regular annual events.
But also remember that it's available for your use and your ideas throughout the year.
